Walden Pond Association consists of voting members and a board of directors. Voting members are good standing homeowners that are paid up in their dues for the year.
Each year, the board of directors will hold an annual association meeting where all members are invited to meet with the board, share their issues, get updates from the board on current issues and finances, and to provide suggestions for improvements.
At the end of the meeting, voting members are able to volunteer to be on the board of directors. Shortly after the meeting, the board will meet and choose board positions for the next year.
Throughout the year, the board handles maintenance of the common areas (entrance, park around the pond, the pond, the island).
The board hires an accountant to manage our finances. The accountant’s name is Steven Levine.
The WPA by-laws provide much more detail on how the association functions. A copy of the latest by-laws was provided in this letter in case you do not have a copy.
